  First time going to a vet in 15 years because I've only had a cat for the last couple years. He's a completely indoor cat, for the most part very healthy, just happened to have a skin infection issue. The problems I have with them is they want to continue to upcharge for nonsense services. Many of us can't afford the vet and that's why we don't go with that said if the vet's office would just charge for things that are necessary and not try to shove things down people's throats that aren't necessary more of us would go to a vet. A Medical assistant walked in never introduced herself or provided her title. Continued to ask questions about what was wrong with the Cat... my son and I thinking she was the physician ...had no idea she wasn't the vet Dr. until she got up and said oh I'll go get the doctor now.Then left the room and a male walked in never introduced himself have no idea what his name is ( assuming he is the physician) and asked all of the same questions all over again! Had they not continued to try and shove unnecessary Services down my throat and continue to up charge me I probably would bring my cat on a routine basis. The bill started at 127 until they wanted to continue to add things and it was 187. Once I looked at it there's a $30 charge for an unnecessary service. Then they charged me for a rabies shot which is fine but I have no proof they gave it to him. They took the cat to another room and supposedly gave him that injection. But yet when it came time to giving him an injection for an antibiotic they did it in front of me. So now I have to question did he actually get a rabies shot, why wouldn't they do that in front of me also?? Apparently they don't understand or just don't care that vet care is more expensive than human care. Make it affordable, provide necessary services not unnecessary services and more people will bring their animals in. Introduce yourselves that would be the most professional thing to do! October 20th, 2017. I had to return my cat for a second antibiotic shot which was not so surprising to us. And I have to say that the staff was absolutely wonderful today, scheduling was super easy I made the appointment yesterday, and I was in and out by my appointment time! So maybe the first day I was there was an off-day I guess we all have them... And today was an affordable $30 visit...
